This is a mock ad that I created for MeUndies, a sustainable underwear company with a fun personality targeted at millennials. To reflect MeUndies’ over-the-top and fun presence, I decided to do a bold illustration that’d make you stop turning the pages. The colors are light and fun, and also feature a lot of contrasting white to catch the reader’s attention. The pattern shown on the underwear is a placeholder, with an idea that the company would choose a pattern that they would like to highlight for the ad.
One of MeUndie’s fun differentiators is a feature on their site that allows you to buy matching underwear with your partner. Focusing on this attribute of the company fit with some research that I’d done on millennial shopping habits which included enjoying fun user experience when shopping. I also played around with their tagline and came up with “Start with style".
